We work with you to set a smart direction for your philanthropic goals. We raise money for really important work. |
Who We Are |
Like our namesake the crow, we are curious. We want to know the issues you face when raising funds or evaluating which nonprofits to support. We want to know your goals and what you value. The other half of our name is about setting direction. We build smart, focused and custom solutions to ensure that you meet your goals.

Our History |
Jennifer established Corvus North in 2015 with the goal of helping nonprofits and individuals make a difference through philanthropy. Jennifer began her fundraising career at her mother's suggestion. Mom knows best. It continues to be a long and satisfying run because of the remarkable, generous people who make Minnesota and the Upper Midwest great.
Her first job out of college was as Development Director for a Minneapolis theater company. That job began with a PayDay candy bar instead of a paycheck -- the theater could not make payroll due to cash flow. She quickly learned the value of building a sustainable funding base and how to read a balance sheet. She went on to lead several marketing and fundraising teams for organizations with operating budgets as large as half a billion dollars annually. During her career, Jennifer has directly raised and overseen teams that have secured $150 million+ for Minnesota arts, education, health care and hunger relief. She holds a Masters of Public Affairs from the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Grinnell College. She maintains Certified Fund Raising Executive status, professional fundraiser registration in Minnesota, and all required insurance certificates. |
